Keep on Fighting
This past Friday, Stand Up to Cancer aired nationally on all the major networks. It was a great evening of awareness and fundraising in the fight against cancer. As I watched some of the coverage on Friday evening, I was struck with the thought that, in today's time, almost everyone, young and old, has been impacted by cancer in some form. Not all of us are patients or direct caretakers, but I would venture to say that the majority of the U.S. population knows someone, whether a family member or friend, who has been afflicted with this terrible disease. That is simply one person too many, and we must continue to fight and unite as a country to bring even more awareness and increased funding in cancer care and research.
On whose behalf do you Stand Up to Cancer?
