Needle Biopsies Underused In Treatment of Breast Cancer

A new study from the Journal of Clinical Oncology concludes that needle biopsies are underused in the United States for patients with breast cancer. Patients who did not undergo needle biopsies were at higher risk for multiple surgeries. Surgeon interventions may help improve needle biopsy rates and lead to better care. Read more here.
